Statistics show that the doubles come in about 25% of the time. However there have been many times when doubles seem to be the norm rather than the exception. At Lotto Magic HQ we track every draw, in every state, every day. I can tell you that when the doubles get hot, they tend to get hot in multiple states. This can be a very profitable period to play because the box win on a double draw pays double in most states.

Here is a very simple way to play the doubles. First you must key in on the hot pair. Once you have selected your targeted (hot) pair, you simply wheel it in this fashion;

XX = your target pair.
 

As long as you are playing  a box ticket, it doesn't matter which order you are playing the digits.

You could have played them as X1X, XX1 as well, and still have a winning ticket. If you are playing for the straight win then you are going to want to play for position, and that is a bit more involved. Now here is the beautiful part of playing this way. Number one the doubles only have three possible ways to be drawn, but normally pay twice the normal box payout.

This easy wheel requires 10 tickets. So  you are wagering $10 using one dollar bets, to win $160 on a winning box. You can of course, play .50 bets instead.

If you feel very strongly about your play, then a combination box can be played for $30.
That wheel would look like this;

If you played with the combo box doubler wheel, you are guaranteed the straight payoff because no matter how the numbers are drawn, as long as they include your targeted pair, you have it covered, and in any order.

So on the $1 winning ticket, you are paid on the straight for $500. But you also will have two winning box tickets with payouts of $160 each. That's a total payout of $820 payout on a $30 bet.

Here is an example. Let's say the X's above = 2's. Let's imagine that the number drawn is 272. You have three tickets that are winners. 7XX and XX7 are both box winners, and of course X7X is good for the straight win.

This is a very exciting way to play and win the Pick 3 game.
